PowerPlans: Addition of Discharge Follow-up Appointments
On the Adult Discharge Plan and the Pediatric Discharge Plan, we will be adding back the Discharge Follow-Up Appointments.
Orders: TEE w/wo Contrast (Cardio Only)
Starting 2/15/2017, the option of TEE w/wo contrast (Cardio only) will no longer be available option except to Cardiovascular Physicians. Physicians should be choosing the “Consult Cardiology for TEE” option.
Admission Medication Reconciliation Alert
A minor change will be made to the Admission Med Rec Alert. The alert will look and function the same however it will now only fire when the medication history has been completed and the admission reconciliation or the discharge reconciliation has not been addressed by a provider. This will allow for an alert to the provider with more complete and accurate information.
Ambulatory: Cost Effective LDL Screening
The Lipid with Calculated LDL order has been virtual viewed to your clinics (TTP) and is visible in your orders folder. This was a request as a less costly option to the Lipid Panel w/ Direct LDL.
