How to edit the patient results letter
Go to Inbox...Manage Preferences

Select the Behavior Prefs tab then Reminder/Letter

Click the Header/Footer button at the bottom right

Edit the note
A likely edit that many may want to make is to remove the Dear John casual salutation. You can simply delete that selection.

Inserting other standard text
If you want to insert some different text, you need to put the cursor on a blank line and then select the desired text from the drop down.

After the [Patient's Last Name] is entered, for example, you can now type Dear Mr. or Ms. in front of it, or something similar.

When you've edited the note to your heart's content, hit the OK button

On the next screen, hit that OK button

The system will then tell you it is saving your new letter template.

Once the settings are saved, hit OK and you are done.
