iOS 13.4 was released overnight by Apple and appears to have introduced a previously unidentified issue with device access codes. Specifically, when users attempt to login, they will receive a "Certificate Error" after authenticating.
At this time, the only known resolution for this error is to generate a new access code via Cerner Central, which the user can claim from UMC IT. This will replace the existing code and allow the user to authenticate normally. It is not necessary to delete the existing provision. Because device provisions (badges) are shared, this impacts all Cerner iOS mobile apps.
Cerner is currently investigating alternative options for resolution. At this time we recommend that users do not upgrade to iOS 13.4 if at all possible. We will share any updates here as they become available. If you need an access code, please call 806.775.8255.
Apps impacted by this are:
Camera Capture Message Center
CareAware Connect Inpatient Patient eSignature
CareAware Connect Messenger PowerChart Touch
CareAware Connect Voice Instanote
Cerner Document Imaging FetaLink+
Cerner Patient Kiosk Connect Nursing
Cerner Staff Manager
