I recently found out about a trick that really enables new power in auto-text. Basically, you can insert blanks anywhere in your auto-text that you want to fill out for the patient by inserting an underscore. Then when you insert the auto-text, hitting F3 will move to the next underscore and select it for typing. Super-powerful.
