Update to Patient Portal- In-Progress and Saved status notes

Effective October 4th, 2021 the below changes will be made available to patients with MyTeamCare (patient portal) access:

1. Inpatient provider documentation will now be released

   • History and Physical notes

   • Progress Notes

   • Consult Notes

   • Discharge Summaries

   • Emergency Center Documentation

1. All providers notes, clinic and inpatient, will be viewable to the patient with the below criteria

   1. All note statuses, including “In-progress”, “Saved”, and “Auth Verified” will be viewable

   2. Immediately (no delay)

1. Sensitive Lab Results (HIV, STDs, etc.) will now be released

   1. Immediately once resulted from the lab

This change is a result from the ONC Cures Act, requiring by law to make a core set of clinical data available to patients in a timely fashion to encourage interoperability and portability of health data.
