Primary Care Physician – You are this patient's primary care provider, and this is your patient across all encounters. You will not see this pop-up message again, and you will receive notifications intended for PCPs.
Review Chart – You are not establishing a long-term relationship, just for this encounter. You will see this pop-up message for this patient once for each individual encounter. Useful for hospitalists or anyone managing an inpatient encounter.
Specialist – Provider – You are this patient's specialist provider, and this is your patient across all encounters. You will not see this pop-up message again, and you will receive notifications intended for specialists.
Visit Provider – Ambulatory – This is your patient for this specific clinic visit. Useful for one-time visits such as walk-ins, urgent care, etc. You will see this pop-up message for this patient on every individual encounter.
